The temperature – nearly zero. But former LIPA chief Richard Kessel and Bob Catell of National Grid were all fired up after the Giants stunned the Packers to reach the Super Bowl last weekend. The two were on hand at the third-coldest game in football history – but they were nice and toasty in a corporate box with Coach Tom Coughlin’s family.
The elements were actually rougher in Dallas the week before, when Kessel said a drunk in front of them tormented the Giants fans and gave “us a really hard time (Bob in particular.)”
The energy brothers will be on hand in Arizona next week when the Giants look to win their third Super Bowl title. To do that, they’ll have to beat the undefeated New England Patriots.
No word on whether Kessel was wearing his throwback 1986 Terry Kinard jersey.
Kessel and Catell are hanging out, ready to work together at CEWIT while celebrating a third Super Bowl for the Giants.
Long live Ottis Anderson.
Kassel and Catell were all fired up over the game. Meanwhile, thanks to Catell’s heartless selling of Keyspan to National Greed, many employees were simply fired. Or tricked into having to quit. Or move their lives to another location.
Thank you, Bob Catell. I hope all those millions buys you a new conscience.
