Kessel’s beverage is dubbed …

kesselkooler.jpgThe time has come to pick a winner in our Name That Drink contest. We know 7-Eleven is dying to start marketing former Long Island Power Authority chairman and chief executive Richie Kessel’s signature beverage. Remember, it contains 3/4 Diet Pepsi and 1/4 Hawaiian Punch.

The entries were great, and thanks to all who participated.

But the winners are …

Honorable mention: Michael, with Tropical Megawatt Fizz, an almost Wonka-esque entry.

But the winner was Craig, for his simple and wonderfully marketable Kessel Kooler entry.

Congrats.

    Kudos to whoever does your graphics; nice job on the customized Big Gulp cup.

    If I understood winner Craig Plunkett’s post (and a Ka-lee-four-nee-a accent) correctly , he intends the drink to be pronounced “Kessel Kewler”. (Do I have that right? Gnarly, dewd!) Now the only hurdle is to get the timid (;>) Mr. Kessel to agree to franchise his name…
